The Rolly Rear Excavator or Backhoe is an exciting new attachment which fits on all large tractors in the RollyJunior, RollyTrac and Rolly XTrac ranges. It attaches to the rear coupling point on these tractors and has two positions.
The first position is for transportation whilst pedalling the tractor and the second position is for using the excavator, and requires the support leg to be lowered to maintain stability. The mechanism for this is automatic as the digger arm can only be rotated while the support leg is down.
Once the leg is lowered, the operator can sit on the seat and reach the 2 control levers. The left lever controls the height of the main arm, while the right lever controls the forearm and bucket, allowing loose material to be scooped up and deposited elsewhere.
The seat and arm can be rotated with a twisting motion, through 180 degrees.
A locking catch is provided to hold the arm in a raised position for transportation, when lifted to it's full height. At the rear of the excavator is a small coupling point, suitable for towing trailers!
